Another day, another update. Been busy, so here's a rundown of the latest:
New and improved client features:
- Added "Public Command Handlers". For those people that keep trying to use
!robot
on the server. Also handles a few other well-known commands people like to bind. Feel free to try them out! They're just little easter eggs; they don't kick or ban players. - Nominations for the native vote panel are back! Awesome work by Powerlord to implement the core feature of my Map Voting Tweaks plugin into NativeVotes., as well as providing forwards to control its contents.
- Rare weapon pickup responses are now available. Picking up a relatively rare weapon will have your class use their MvM loot response lines. I think. Can't seem to get them to work on bots, though I might just have to do some more testing.
- A new console command,
sm_botskill
lets you see the difficulty level of currently active bots. I'm thinking of improving it with annotations and whatnot in the future.
Server manglement changes:
- Fixed the uptime limiter. Apparently we can't check how many players are connected during
OnMapEnd()
, so it's been changed to check for connected human players duringTF2_OnWaitingForPlayersStart()
.
Maps? Who cares about maps? (And navigation meshes, for that matter?)

got a few small changes regarding bots getting stuck under the stairs in the final area at RED spawn.koth_eros
has been added with bot support. It's actually been in the rotation for a couple of weeks; just forgot to mention it in the last update.
That's about it this time around. Been working on Project Silkworm the past week.
